Location for Box #1:
I invented, among other items, a useful tool for use by all housewives in the late 1800's that is still being used today, although a newer invention has made mine less popular.
Besides being a prolific inventor of such items as a combination lock, corn planter and an adding machine, I was also a partner in a company that manufactured the pieces of a horse's harness that fit around the neck of a horse called a "hame."
My patent was granted to my on April 9, 1867.
This mystery site was built by me in VT.
Find me; find my letterbox!
